Studio Manager
You sit right in the hub of the agency, championing the smooth, effective running of the studio team and internal workflow. You support the Design Directors and work in partnership with the Client Services and Production teams to oversee, support and manage the delivery of design projects. Consistently showing excellent communication and organisational skills, being able to listen, predict, negotiate and manage multiple projects is your superpower. You’re digitally fluent, exceptionally confident and have broad knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end life cycle of a range of creative project types.

Specifics:
- Talent ID and external freelance pool growth, management and engagement
- You oversee the day-to-day running of the Creative Services team, managing all studio operations and work flows, building and assigning appropriate teams
- Assessing, interrogating and clarifying creative briefs, you clearly communicate the client and project needs to the design team to ensure that the work meets the agreed brief
• You’re well connected in the design industry, confidently sourcing new freelance talent, suppliers and external resources, you oversee bookings, negotiating rates, raising PO’s and QC. You manage studio annual leave, sickness and our ongoing policies around hybrid/ remote working
• You lead weekly studio meetings, setting daily priorities
• You ensure that all studio technology is kept up to date (hardware/ software/licensing/libraries) and you’re able to advise and recommend
on future trends
• You’re confident at proofing, reviewing and QC’ing creative work, cross-checking key documents before they are shared with the account teams and clients
• You forecast and manage time allowance and utilisation against project budgets, along with adept financial tracking, control and reporting
• Creating and implementing deadlines, project goals, expectations and work flows you set up and maintain robust systems, processes and disciplines around file management, project reviews, time sheeting and reporting
• You proactively encourage a culture of creative exploration and development, driving forwards (and protecting) time and space for individual and team R&D
• You are passionate about championing the studio and build collaborative relationships, balancing the needs of the client, the work and the team
Experience:
